katy fike, Phd 

Katy is a Managing Director of Generator Ventures. Katy is a gerontologist, former investment banker and co-founder of Aging2.0, the premiere global innovation network focused on aging and senior care. Recently named one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business, Katy speaks frequently on topics related to innovation and aging in media outlets such as NPR, Bloomberg TV, Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Time, PBS NewsHour, TechCrunch and the Huffington Post. She holds an undergraduate degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and a doctorate in gerontology from the USC Davis School of Gerontology.

Russell hirsch, MD, PhD 

Russell is a Managing Director of Generator Ventures. Russell brings more than 30 years of venture capital experience to the team. He was the co-founder of Prospect Ventures Fund II and III, life science venture funds with more than $1 billion in capital under management. Prior to Prospect, he was a partner in the Healthcare Technology group at Mayfield. Russell has sat on a number of private and public boards.

ARNold whitman

Arnie is a Managing Director of Generator Ventures. Arnie is the Executive Chairman and co-founder of Formation Capital, a $6B private investment firm with an unmatched footprint in post-acute services, senior housing and care and healthcare real estate. Arnie is a current board member and Chairman Emeritus of the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care (NIC) and also serves on the executive board of the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA).

 
 

Daniel Kaplan, MS, MBA

Danny is a Senior Associate at Generator Ventures. Prior to Generator, Danny worked at Deloitte and was part of the early team at ClearCare, a leading web-based platform for home care agencies. Danny holds a BA in International Business from Dickinson College and an MBA and MS in Gerontology from the University of Southern California.
